Professional Accomplishments:
• Supplying International Hotel Chains with PPE during COVID-19 outbreak
• At American Hotel Register Company in my capacity as Sales Manager, I was instrumental in the increased sales from $1.4 million in 2016 to $2.7 million in 2017.
• When I introduced a Linen Supplier for African and Indian Ocean; this resulted in a 45% saving across 14 properties throughout Hilton portfolio within Africa & Indian Ocean.
• Co-developed and launched a new recycling programme for bottled mineral water resulting in an 81% return rate and a combined saving of $60 000 per annum over the 4 properties in South Africa. Program was recognised and received recognition from HWW McClean Head Office. The program was set to develop and expand to Indian Ocean.
• Initiated a local wine supplier tender process for supply throughout A&IO, resulting in the reduction of wine costs by $75 000 per annum across Africa & Indian Ocean.
• I was instrumental in securing Hilton pricing from local food suppliers, resulting in an average saving of 30% across all properties.
• During my tenor at Park Inn Sandton, I was afforded the opportunity to act in the capacity of Restaurant and Events Manager for 9 months.
• Healing Wings developed my planning skills as the farm was situated on a remote location allowing for purchasing to only take place once a week.
• Sandton Sun & Intercontinental cemented my abilities to effectively run Back of House; providing a strong operational foundation.
• Sandown Park Lodge & Racecourse (UK), I achieved the objective of making the establishment profitable within 8 months.
• Part of the team who opened the 2nd Phase of Grange Holborn Hotel – additional 60 bedrooms, health club and swimming pool.
• Opening General Manager for Grange Bracknell Hotel – a 120 bedroom 4-star hotel in the Silicon Valley of Great Britain.
